Universal Music Group Reports Strong Sales Growth in Q1
Universal Music Group, home to popular artists like Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter, has announced impressive sales figures for the first quarter, surpassing analysts’ expectations. The company attributes this increase largely to a rise in global subscriber numbers.
In the three months leading up to March 31, Universal Music saw its total revenue climb by 9.5%, adjusted for currency changes, amounting to €2.9 billion (approximately $3.31 billion). This exceeds the average analyst projection of €2.76 billion, reflecting the company’s strong position in the music industry.
With a portfolio of top-selling artists, Universal Music continues to thrive as it navigates a changing market landscape.
