A new devotional film, Hanuman Ansh, is making waves at the box office, quickly becoming a major success. Its impressive performance draws some comparisons to last year’s hit, Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate. This film started slowly, struggling to attract viewers in its first two weeks. However, it eventually gained traction and became the highest-grossing Gujarati film, raking in over ₹100 crores, all while being produced on a modest budget and without any big-name stars.
Recently, there has been buzz about a Telugu remake of Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate. Initially, Ram Charan was rumored to be in the running for a leading role. However, insiders have confirmed that it will actually be Vijay Deverakonda portraying Lord Krishna. The film’s Telugu version will be produced by the well-known filmmaker Dil Raju, who has secured the rights to remake this beloved story.
Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate tells the captivating tale of an auto-rickshaw driver who gets trapped in a deserted mansion while attempting to steal valuables. An unexpected savior appears in the form of Lord Krishna. Directed by Ankit Sakhiya, the film featured Karan Joshi in the lead and Shruhad Goswami as Lord Krishna.
The film premiered in a quiet pre-Diwali period on October 10, 2025, and initially struggled to find an audience, earning just ₹36 lakhs in its first week and ₹28 lakhs in the second week. However, things took a turn in its third and fourth weeks, with the film earning ₹70 lakhs in week three and jumping to ₹14 crores in its fourth week as word-of-mouth boosted its popularity.
Audiences have praised the film for its storyline, direction, and performances, particularly enjoying the music. The end-credit song became a favorite, with many cinema-goers sharing videos of themselves dancing along online, helping to spark more interest in the film and drawing in larger crowds to theaters.
