A close source shared that the celebration took place at Dhawan’s residence. Unlike his usual private gatherings, this birthday bash was special and seemed to be organized at the encouragement of his family, who hold him in high regard.
Among the guests were popular stars like Salman Khan, Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, and his son Varun Dhawan, along with other industry figures such as Rajkumar Santoshi, Dinesh Vijan, and Sajid Nadiadwala. The gathering turned out to be a warm reunion for many in the industry.

David Dhawan made his directorial debut in 1989 with the film “Taaqatwar.” Over the past 37 years, he has directed an impressive list of 45 films, many of which became iconic, including hits like “Aankhen,” “Coolie No 1,” and “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.” His most recent film, “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai,” was released just two months ago featuring his son Varun along with popular actors Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde.
