Rajesh Sharma Recovers after Hospitalization Due to Insect Bite
Actor Rajesh Sharma was admitted to a Kolkata hospital earlier this month after an insect bite that caused him some serious issues. The incident took place at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where he was filming the movie Fauzi starring Prabhas. Following the news, many fans expressed their worries about his health.
Recently, it has been confirmed that Sharma has been discharged from the hospital and is now recovering at home. BN Tiwari, the president of the FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees), shared that Sharma is recuperating in Mumbai and is preparing to travel abroad soon for another project.
The trouble started on July 8 when Sharma was bitten while talking to local crew members near a heavily wooded area. Initially, he thought it wasn’t serious and did not seek immediate medical help. However, after boarding a flight to Kolkata, he began experiencing severe pain in his right leg, along with a high fever. This led to him being admitted to Manipal Hospital.
A couple of days later, actress Sudipta Chatterjee provided an update that Sharma was feeling better but was still under medical care.
As news of Sharma’s health circulated, actor Akshay Kumar expressed his concerns on social media, sharing a photo of himself with Sharma. He conveyed his wishes for a speedy recovery, saying, “Hope Mahadev blesses him with fast and complete recovery. Jaldi theek ho ja yaar, abhi saath baith ke bhot hansna hai,” which translates to hoping he gets well soon, as they have much laughter to share together.
