Ranbir Kapoor Expands Real Estate Holdings with Major Land Purchase in Pune

Ranbir Kapoor has taken a significant step in his real estate ventures by acquiring nearly 25.7 acres of land in Pune’s Mulshi taluka for around ₹16.42 crores. As per property registration records reviewed by CRE Matrix, this purchase involves four connected land parcels located in Pimpri village. The formal sale agreement was registered on April 30, 2026.

The transaction details reveal that the first parcel encompasses 21,400 square meters, acquired for ₹3.31 crores. The second, which spans 29,900 square meters, was bought for ₹4.62 crores. The third parcel, the largest of the group, measures 43,800 square meters, costing ₹7.07 crores, while the fourth parcel covers 8,900 square meters and was purchased for ₹1.39 crores.

Together, these four plots add up to roughly 1,04,000 square meters or 25.7 acres, with a total transaction value of ₹16.42 crores. The deal also attracted a stamp duty of ₹82.13 lakh.

This isn’t Kapoor’s first foray into real estate recently. In May 2026, he made headlines by purchasing a plot worth approximately ₹3.31 crores in Ayodhya as part of ‘The Sarayu’ project by The House of Abhinandan Lodha. This parcel is located within a broader luxury development that spans 75 acres along the Sarayu River and is set to feature a clubhouse, over 35 lifestyle amenities, and a five-acre vegetarian luxury hotel managed by The Leela.

Ranbir Kapoor’s latest venture mirrors a growing trend among Bollywood stars, who are diversifying their investments beyond Mumbai. Many actors and public figures are increasingly buying agricultural and residential land, holiday homes, and premium properties in places like Pune, Alibaug, Lonavala, and Goa.

Alongside Kapoor, other personalities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Virat Kohli, and Anushka Sharma have also made notable investments in real estate across various regions, underscoring the rising interest in premium property as a viable long-term investment option.
