A Journey Beyond: Gabe Poirot’s Incredible Experience in a Coma

In a captivating interview, Gabe Poirot recounted his remarkable near-death experience during an 18-day coma. This life-changing event took place in October 2021, and he recently shared his story with Kayleigh McEnany. Poirot spoke about how he felt as if he had left his body, encountered Jesus, and discovered that heaven is more about a person than a place. His story is also documented in his book, 18 Days in Heaven, which emphasizes his spiritual journey and spreads a message of hope.

Recovery and Reflection: Rudy Giuliani’s Health Journey

Meanwhile, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, aged 81, is on the mend after battling a severe case of viral pneumonia that put him in a coma earlier this year. He expressed his gratitude and relief during his online talk show, “America’s Mayor Live!” where he claimed to feel completely recovered just days after returning home.

Giuliani described his hospital experience as “very significant,” recalling a dream-like state where he felt a presence much like that of St. Peter. He shared that a dear friend, Peter Powers, who sadly passed away in 2016, appeared during this experience and conveyed some meaningful words to him.

Upon waking, Giuliani quickly wrote down these words to ensure he wouldn’t forget them. He has since had conversations about this experience with a priest and plans to delve deeper into his reflections in the future.

This health scare began when Giuliani returned home from a trip to Paris, where he initially felt unwell. His condition worsened, leading him to need a ventilator and a priest for last rites. Fortunately, he began to improve, moving off the ventilator by a few days later.

While Giuliani’s experience during his coma has not been officially labeled a “near-death experience,” it echoes many similar stories from others who have been critically ill. Research indicates common themes in these experiences, including out-of-body sensations and the feeling of encountering a bright light or other figures.

Experts conclude that these occurrences are complex and beyond simple medical explanations, often suggesting a deeper understanding of consciousness. Giuliani’s and Poirot’s stories shed light on the profound and often mysterious experiences related to life, death, and the journeys people take beyond our earthly existence.
