Sanjay Dutt Unveils ‘Khalnayak Returns’ at Event in Mumbai
In Mumbai, actor and producer Sanjay Dutt, alongside Aksha Kamboj from Aspect Entertainment, filmmaker Subhash Ghai, and Jyoti Deshpande of Jio Studios, announced the much-anticipated sequel, Khalnayak Returns. Dutt confirmed that he would be producing the film through his company, Three Dimension Motion Pictures.
During the event, Dutt was also asked about the potential for sequels to his legendary characters like Raghu from Vaastav and Murli from Munna Bhai. He shared, “We are indeed working on Vaastav 2. As for Munna Bhai, that’s up to Raju Hirani. Raju, please make it again!”
Subhash Ghai shared a few anecdotes about Dutt’s early career, recalling their first collaboration in Vidhaata (1982) when Dutt was just starting out. He said, “Sanju was quite young and didn’t want to act at first. He just wanted to ride his motorcycle! But over time, he took his acting career seriously, and I watched him grow with each role.”
Ghai also mentioned how many stars were eager to work on Khalnayak, but he already had Dutt in mind. “When I approached Sanju and told him about the film, he said, ‘I trust you. Let’s do it!’” Dutt humorously interjected, correcting Ghai, “You never told me the story! You just said, ‘You have to do this film!’”
With excitement surrounding Khalnayak Returns, fans are eagerly awaiting more news as the project unfolds.
