India kicked off their Under-19 World Cup 2026 journey with a strong win against the USA, securing a six-wicket victory. The team successfully chased down a target of 108 runs, thanks to a stunning performance from Henil Patel, who claimed five wickets and dismantled the opposing batting lineup.

In their next match against Bangladesh, India set a total of 238 runs. Vaibhav Suryavanshi contributed significantly with a solid 72 off 67 balls, while Abhigyan Kundu added 80 off 112 balls. During Bangladesh’s innings, Vihaan Malhotra stepped up with an impressive four-wicket haul, finishing with figures of 4 for 14, helping India clinch an 18-run victory.

In the final group match against New Zealand, India’s bowlers were again in fine form. RS Ambrish took 4 wickets for 29 runs, while Henil Patel supported him with 3 wickets for just 23 runs, knocking New Zealand out for 135.
