Title: Dhurandhar to Release Revised Version in Theaters Next Year
In a significant development, the hit film Dhurandhar has grossed an impressive ₹754.50 crores within just 26 days of its release. The film, featuring Ranveer Singh, is expected to continue its strong performance into 2026 as well.
According to industry sources, theaters across India received notification about a new version of Dhurandhar, set to debut on January 1, 2026. This updated version includes alterations made in accordance with the directives from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Reports indicate that two words have been muted in the film, including one notable word: “Baloch.” The exact details of the other changes are still under wraps.
A spokesperson from the exhibition sector shared, “Cinemas were asked to download and show the revised version starting January 1.”
Dhurandhar features a star-studded cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. The film’s story revolves around an Indian infiltrating Pakistan and causing turmoil. Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film had a slow start but quickly gained momentum due to positive word-of-mouth, earning ₹218 crores in its first week and ₹261.50 crores in its second.
As the film continues to captivate audiences, it is anticipated to surpass the ₹800 crores mark soon.
