The team behind Thalapathy Vijay’s eagerly awaited movie Jana Nayagan has officially announced its Hindi title as Jan Neta. Zee Studios will take charge of releasing the film in North India, which is an important move aimed at making this film a significant pan-Indian release. The movie is set to grace screens worldwide on January 9, 2026.
To celebrate the announcement, a new poster featuring Thalapathy Vijay and Bobby Deol was released. The poster showcases a thrilling standoff between the two actors, surrounded by scenes of chaos and destruction. It hints at a story drenched in political turmoil and ideological battles, indicating that the film will dive deep into issues of power and belief, beyond just action.
In the poster, Vijay appears rugged and composed, while Bobby Deol takes on a dominant, military-inspired look. Their contrasting appearances amplify the tension, suggesting a plot that unfolds on a national stage, rich with emotional and political stakes.
The production company, KVN Productions, shared the poster on social media, adding a catchy tagline: “Aavoo together bhaiya bhaiya to witness his one last dance.” The film has already begun to create buzz, reportedly breaking pre-sale records in various overseas markets, signaling high anticipation for its arrival.
Jana Nayagan is particularly special as it may be Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, raising the stakes even higher. With Zee Studios handling distribution in North India, the film is expected to attract a wide audience across Hindi-speaking regions.
Directed by H. Vinoth, known for his insightful storytelling, the film features music by Anirudh Ravichander. An ensemble cast including Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, and Narain further enriches the narrative.
Adding to the excitement, the audio launch for the film is scheduled for December 27 in Malaysia. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana under the KVN Productions banner, Jana Nayagan, now also known as Jan Neta, aims for a spectacular release during the Pongal festival weekend.
