Delhi recently experienced an unforgettable night as fans gathered for the first public screening of Thamma, kicking off a new tradition in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU). This event was particularly special as it allowed fans to see the first 20 minutes of the movie ahead of its official release—an exciting moment for many.

The evening was filled with laughter, thanks to hosts Biswa Kalyan Rath and Divay Agarwal, who kept the energy high. Fans also enjoyed surprise appearances from characters from the MHCU, including Bhediya and Stree, making the night even more lively.

Producer Dinesh Vijan spoke to the crowd, sharing his enthusiasm: “This is just the start of something new for our fans. They will get a sneak peek of films before anyone else. We are creating a space that truly belongs to them.”

The clip from Thamma had the audience engaged, with special applause for Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s arrival on screen. The event also welcomed Bollywood greats like Paresh Rawal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Ayushmann Khurrana, alongside the film’s director, Aditya Sarpotdar, and the entire Thamma team.

Following the screening, advance ticket sales opened, showing a fantastic response. Tickets are already flying off the shelves in major cities, with morning shows almost fully booked.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted, “Thamma is on track to be a hit this festive season. The advance bookings are impressive, and the excitement is translating into strong ticket sales. With the backing of the MHCU brand and the Diwali season, this film is set for success at the box office.”

Additionally, Ashish Saksena, COO of Cinemas at BookMyShow, reported, “After opening advance bookings this morning, we saw demand spike almost immediately. Both morning and evening shows are filling up quickly, indicating a strong interest in this Diwali blockbuster.”

Featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Thamma promises a mix of horror, comedy, and romance, making it appealing to many viewers. With its festive release and catchy music already resonating with the audience, the film is gearing up for a grand opening weekend.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, Thamma hits theaters worldwide on October 21.
