Kristen Bell’s Unique Approach to Biohacking Revealed

Actress Kristen Bell has been making waves with her innovative methods in biohacking, a trend focused on improving health through personal changes. In a recent chat on the Emmys 2025 red carpet with E! News reporter Zuri Hall, her co-star Justine Lupe shared some insights about Bell’s fascinating habits.

Lupe noted, “Kristen really knows her stuff. If you ask her how to manage your glucose levels or prepare your body before eating pasta, she has answers.” This highlights how invested Bell is in understanding the science behind nutrition.

Biohacking includes various lifestyle tweaks to boost health. A crucial aspect of this is diet. According to Lupe, Bell often eats greens like spinach before carbs. This practice can help slow down the absorption of carbohydrates, making it easier for the body to manage sugar levels.

Lupe added, “You can also try apple cider vinegar or fiber supplements like Metamucil for similar results.” These foods are thought to help stabilize blood sugar, a beneficial outcome attributed to Bell’s approach.

Registered dietitian Amy Shapiro supports this idea, stating that consuming fiber can indeed slow down glucose entering the bloodstream. She explained, “When we feed our gut bacteria well, it creates substances that enhance digestion and overall health.” This method leads to a more controlled rise in blood sugar, avoiding sudden spikes and crashes that can lead to cravings.

Many studies back the claim that apple cider vinegar can assist in weight loss and keep blood sugar in check. Shapiro noted, “While it’s not a miracle fix, both real food fiber and vinegar can help many people manage their glucose response.”

As a trend, “fibermaxxing,” or increasing daily fiber intake, has gained traction. Nutritionist Robin DeCicco emphasized the wide-ranging benefits of fiber, from gut health to weight management. She suggested adding colorful foods to every meal and using nuts and seeds to provide extra fiber throughout the day.

DeCicco also advised that fiber should be introduced gradually to avoid discomfort. “If you have specific digestive issues, it’s important to adapt your approach,” she warned.

In summary, Kristen Bell’s focus on biohacking through dietary changes highlights a simple yet effective method to enhance health. With insights from experts, it’s clear that understanding what you eat can have a powerful impact on well-being.
