There’s been a lot of buzz recently about Deepika Padukone leaving Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film, Spirit. Reports suggested that Deepika was replaced by Triptii Dimri due to what were described as “unreasonable demands,” including restrictions on her working hours.

However, new information sheds light on the real reason for Deepika’s exit from the film, which co-stars Prabhas. According to a source close to the situation, Deepika was excited about the script and her role in Spirit. Just as they were finalizing her contract, she received an offer for Atlee’s film featuring Allu Arjun, which she found even more appealing. Faced with the choice between the two projects, she decided to withdraw from Spirit, mentioning some disagreements regarding fees and working hours.

The source clarified that Vanga was not opposed to any concerns Deepika had regarding the film. Ultimately, she opted for a new opportunity, which is completely understandable. She had previously worked with Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD, but collaborating with Allu Arjun promises to be a fresh experience for her.
