Indian Community in Paris Celebrates Operation Sindoor

Paris: The Indian community in Paris recently held a Tiranga Rally to honor the Indian armed forces for Operation Sindoor. This mission was launched to respond to the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, where 26 innocent civilians were killed by terrorists linked to Pakistan while they were vacationing in Kashmir.

Kavita Singh, a long-time resident of France, expressed gratitude towards India’s government and military at the event. "We’ve gathered here to say thank you to our Armed forces. This event is to acknowledge their bravery," she remarked.

Another member of the Indian diaspora shared their feelings, saying, "We are celebrating a victory today. The last time we met was to demand justice for the Pahalgam victims. We have full trust in the Indian Army now."

Joginder Kumar, President of the Franco-Indian Association, stated, "We are here to pay tribute to the brave martyrs and celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor. We’ve sent a strong message to Pakistan, hoping they think twice before acting again."

Operation Sindoor Continues, Says Actor Mukesh Khanna

In a related event, actor Mukesh Khanna joined the ‘Bharat Zindabad Yatra’. He encouraged Hindus across the country to voice their support, saying, “Operation Sindoor addresses what happened in Pahalgam and isn’t over yet. There’s still work to be done, especially regarding Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.”

Responding to criticisms from opposition leaders about India’s anti-terror operations, Khanna remarked, "Those questioning the operation are not being patriotic. Some people just oppose whatever the BJP does."

Background of Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor was initiated in response to the horrific Pahalgam attack, where terrorists targeted Hindu tourists on April 22. As part of this operation, the Indian armed forces targeted terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), successfully eliminating over 100 terrorists and dismantling their infrastructure.

Following the operation, Pakistan attempted to escalate tensions with missile and drone strikes, but India retaliated by targeting critical airbases in Pakistan, causing significant damage to their air defense capabilities.
