Kickoff for Partnership: Visa Joins as Official Payment Tech Ally for Club World Cup

FIFA Welcomes Visa as Official Partner for Club World Cup

FIFA has officially announced that Visa will be the partner for the upcoming Club World Cup this summer. This marks an important partnership, as Visa takes on the role of official payment technology provider for this prestigious event.

Visa has a rich history with FIFA, previously partnering for the World Cup, Women’s World Cup, and various youth and futsal competitions. This new alliance highlights Visa’s ongoing commitment to supporting football at all levels.

Romy Gai, FIFA’s Chief Business Officer, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “Visa has greatly contributed to the growth of football worldwide. We’re thrilled to have them on board as we approach the kickoff of this historic tournament.”

The Club World Cup 2025 is set to change the landscape of club football globally. With Visa’s extensive reach and focus on innovation, FIFA is excited to collaborate with a brand that aligns well with their vision.

Frank Cooper III, Chief Marketing Officer at Visa, emphasized that this partnership showcases Visa’s dedication to football, saying, “This collaboration highlights our commitment to football at every level. We look forward to being part of this unique tournament and providing fresh experiences for our clients and fans.”

The tournament is scheduled to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13.
