Salman Khan recently unveiled the exciting trailer for his upcoming movie, Sikandar, during a special event at a multiplex in Mumbai. The star-studded launch saw the presence of actors including Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, and Anjini Dhawan, along with producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director A R Murugadoss. As anticipated, Salman received the loudest cheers, but Rashmika also enjoyed a warm reception from the audience, further adding to her rising popularity after her successful films Pushpa 2 – The Rule and Chhaava.
During the event, Salman praised his co-stars, saying, “All of them are fantastic. They have worked really hard. Miss Mandanna here has given her best, especially.” Rashmika beamed with happiness at the compliment. He also highlighted her dedication, sharing that she balanced shooting for both Pushpa 2 and Sikandar, often working through the night despite facing health challenges, including a leg injury. “She didn’t cancel a single day of shoot,” Salman noted.
In his signature humorous style, he joked, “She reminds me a lot of me! I mean younger me; yesterday wala me!” This comment got a good laugh from the audience.
A charming moment of the evening came when Salman mimicked Rashmika’s famous Korean heart pose, showcasing their camaraderie. He also sang a few lines from the song Lag Ja Gale, which Rashmika is seen humming at the end of the trailer, calling it the best part of the promo.
Sikandar is set to hit theaters on March 30, promising to be a must-watch for fans.
