Hyderabad is gearing up for an exciting moment as it prepares to host its inaugural international concert featuring the renowned singer Ed Sheeran. The event will be even more special as Indian pop star Armaan Malik will be taking the stage as the opening act, marking their second performance together following a memorable show in Mumbai.
Armaan Malik, famous for his hit songs such as “You,” “Control,” and “Butta Bomma,” has been a key figure in bringing Indian music to the global stage. His unique style, blending traditional Indian sounds with international music, has garnered him international recognition. Ed Sheeran, on the other hand, is a beloved global artist known for chart-toppers like “Shape of You,” “Perfect,” and “Bad Habits.” His heartfelt melodies and captivating performances have enchanted audiences all over the world.
The duo previously collaborated on a special Indian remix of Ed Sheeran’s track “2Step,” showcasing their remarkable musical chemistry. With Armaan opening for Ed in Hyderabad, fans can look forward to a thrilling night of fantastic music that will mark a significant milestone for live concerts in India.
This concert is part of Sheeran’s 2025 + – = ÷ x India tour, during which he will perform in six cities across the country. He kicked off the tour in Pune on January 30, and the next stops include Hyderabad on February 2 at Ramoji Film City, Chennai on February 5 at YMCA Ground, and Bengaluru on February 8 at NICE Grounds. The tour will also feature a performance in Shillong on February 12 at JN Stadium, concluding in Delhi NCR on February 15 at Leisure Valley Ground.
The 2025 India tour is being organized by AEG Presents Asia in collaboration with BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment division of BookMyShow.
