A man was taken into custody on Tuesday after he illegally entered the shooting site of popular Bollywood actor Salman Khan. When questioned by authorities, he allegedly asked, “Should I call Bishnoi?” The individual has been transferred to the Shivaji Park police station for additional questioning. This incident raises further security concerns for the actor, who has faced multiple threats in recent months.
The situation unfolds amidst a rise in threats linked to Lawrence Bishnoi and his associates, who have previously targeted Salman Khan due to issues stemming from the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. Recently, Khan received another threat related to a song that supposedly connects him to the jailed gangster. This threat was communicated through Mumbai’s traffic control room and warned that the songwriter would face dire consequences within a month. The message declared that if Salman Khan was brave enough, he should intervene to save the songwriter.
In a related development, a 32-year-old man named Bhikha Ram, also known as Vikram, was arrested in Karnataka’s Haveri for previous threats made against Salman Khan. Bhikha Ram, originally from Jalore in Rajasthan, was later handed over to Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) for further inquiry.
Salman Khan’s troubles stem from his alleged involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching incident, where he was accused of killing two blackbucks while filming “Hum Saath Saath Hain.” This act angered the Bishnoi community, which holds the blackbuck sacred. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who leads a criminal group tied to this community, has consistently demanded a public apology from Khan, warning of serious repercussions if that apology is not granted. Last year, Bishnoi reiterated that his community would not forgive the actor unless he publicly apologized.
As security issues continue to grow around Salman Khan, fans and the public remain watchful of the developments in this troubling situation.
