Prime Video, in partnership with Excel Entertainment, has officially announced the release date for the much-awaited Hindi film, Agni. This exciting project, which is produced by Excel Entertainment, is directed by the acclaimed Rahul Dholakia. The film features a talented cast, including Pratik Gandhi and Divyenndu, along with Saiyami Kher, Sai Tamhankar, Jitendra Joshi, Udit Arora, and Kabir Shah in significant roles. Fans can look forward to the film’s premiere on December 6, available exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries worldwide.

Agni stands out as India’s first film focused on firefighters, offering a tribute to the bravery and dedication of these crucial heroes. The storyline follows Vitthal, played by Pratik Gandhi, and his brother-in-law Samit, portrayed by Divyenndu, as they team up to tackle a sudden wave of mysterious fires threatening their city. As they face this intense crisis, the film also delves into Vitthal’s personal struggles for respect both from others and within his family, highlighting the relentless spirit of those who put their lives on the line to protect others.

Manish Menghani, the Director of Content Licensing at Prime Video India, expressed excitement about the film, describing it as an inspiring blend of drama and powerful themes like courage and unity. He emphasized that Agni showcases the gripping realities faced by first responders, capturing the human drama in life-and-death situations, all presented through visually stunning storytelling. “This film is not just about fighting fires but also about battling inner conflicts,” he added.

Producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar also shared their pride in presenting a film that celebrates the bravery of firefighters while exploring the relationships and dilemmas that arise when lives are at stake. They praised director Rahul Dholakia and the lead actors for their exceptional work, noting that the film promises to engage audiences around the world. The collaboration with Prime Video is seen as a perfect partnership to bring this unique story to a global audience.
